  • By public transport – You can take a bus or minibus (marshrutka) from Yerevan Central Bus Station to Alaverdi town (around 3-4 hrs). From Alaverdi, you can either hike to the monastery (about 2 hrs) or take a taxi for a more convenient option.
  • By Train – You can take a train from Yerevan Central Railway Station to Alaverdi (about 3 hrs & 10 mins). Once you arrive in Alaverdi, you’ll need to take a taxi or hike to the monastery.
