Once in a lifetime trio to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. - We worked with Nune to design a custom tour for our small group of friends. At the end, just prior to departure from US, we had many changes that needed... read more to happen at the last moment - 4 people had to drop off due to various personal conditions first, then, in the middle of the trip, we asked for a change in the itinerary in one of the countries visited. Surprisingly, Nune managed to pull it off!
At the end, we saw a lot of unforgettable sites and met a lot of wonderful people. Everyone in the group was very happy and very grateful to Cascade and all of the local guides and drivers! We traveled the entire country [which is absolutely beautiful] and so much incredible history and unbelievable monastary and churches dating back to 400 AD and some pagean sites dating back to 2,000 BCE. I loved every minute of it. Our guides Arthur in Armenia and Levan in Georgia... read more were both incredibly well versed and knowledgeable in the culture and history of their respective countries.
The tour was well thought out and executed. Communications with Ani and Nune was excellent The wine tastings and cheese tastings, the meals provided , the introduction to people in their own homes was especially enjoyable. Not to forget the cooking classes and the feasts to follow which were fabulous also.

Just do it. Quite amazing - Was meant to be a group tour but was just me and my friend. So a private tour by default. Booking was easy and communication with Nune always efficient but... read more I found payment clunky. International transfer required but unfortunately after spending hours attempting this I found one small detail missing from their invoice
meaning I needed to email to get it and start again. I hope that is now listed on invoice. (Was just post code or zip code) 2 hours or more spent paying was nearly a deal breaker but I am so glad I persevered, Nune has obviously done her due diligence on every guide and experience in both Armenia and Georgia. I knew nothing about either country previously but have come home feeling extremely enriched by my experience. Once I started this trip I didn’t need to open my purse. So many extra little surprises just kept happening. Both of our drivers spent many more hours than listed in itinerary each day ensuring our experience was over the top. Visiting local wineries guest house and local families and at times helping slightly in food prep was awesome. History told and actual experience of our guides is still in my heart. My favourite scenery definitely Georgian Military highway. Some of the roads confronting but my guides Arthur in Armenia and Levan in Georgia made me feel safe. Both extreme gentlemen. Loved it. Some of the long details in the church stuff I found a bit long but I did just wander off at times.
