Cycling in Armenia-Day Trip

‘Cycling in Armenia’ one-day tour is a perfect escape from the city if you have just 1 day to enjoy nature out on the bicycle. The tour gives a chance to take a ride away from busy highways and traffic, and to enjoy remote areas, silence and relax from noisy day life. 

What about the itinerary?

Our mornings starts at 09:00 at our hotel. Later, our cycling instructor will make a brief presentation about the route and its difficulty level. As we are already done with our preparations and presentations our car gets us to Argel village, where our cycling is about to begin – far from highways and main roads. Cycling trail provides perfect views of cascading hills covered with lush forests, and small villages scattered around. We will make a stop at well preserved mediaeval Bjni Fortress. Here we can go inside, observe the architecture and even walk up the stairs leading from the bottom to the top of round towers.

Despite its beauty and important historical importance our trail needs to be continued. We will ride on to Hankavan village, which surroundings are beloved spots for beekeepers due to its endless flowers blooming here. The road passes close to the village by demonstrating its serenity, beauty  and simplicity. Here we have a chance to take a hot mineral bath in private pools. Without any rush, we will enjoy our picnic with lunch in fresh nature and get some rest before the return to the city. The one-day cycling tour ends in the capital where our car gets back us.
